Avery is Here!!!

Well, our new family began at 11:44 on Monday November 17th....3 days early which I'm sure was a relief to Bridget. She did an amazing job in Labor, and I saw Avery from the moment the top of her head appeared until she "Arrived." As they pulled her up, in a relfex her eyes opened up and looked right at me, so I know that I will always be the first person Avery ever saw!

This process has been tough for me, as I wish Mom was here to enjoy it with us, and certainly give advice. But after watching the birth and seeing Avery it has made me realize that my non-beliefs are wrong. I think Mom is going to make a great Guardian Angel for Avery, she's done great so far. I will post MANY more pics soon, just wanted to get something on the Net!

Avery the 4D baby!

We had our 4D sonogram this week and all is well. Avery was very active during this time so we got some good video and pictures. She looks like a little alien, but Bridget threatened me with violence if i say that....oops!

She is wreaking havoc on Bridget's body and we know there is more to come but Bridget has kept a GREAT attitude about it. I personally think we should keep a l ist of everything she has done so we can hold it against here when she get older! :)

The rest of the Family

Well, we are now in "wait" mode for Avery's arrival so i will post pics of the playmates Avery will have once she arrives!

Bert (yes he has another ear), Ernie (too cool for pics), and Jake (still trying to figure out what those two little things are running around the house) get along great and are going to provide hours of entertainment for Avery when she gets older!

We are DONE!

Well, time is winding down and the unknown of when Avery will arrive has us wanting to get everything ready. Bridget is here this weekend so we took Friday night to go to every store we needed to "finish" off the room and stock it up. Crib was built, pictures hung, supplies stocked and bathroom ready (decorating that is for another weekend). We love the way the room came out and are ready to relax the rest of the weekend!

WE have 3 walls complete and only have the crib and brown wall to finish...then the fun starts, as we stock the room to get ready for her arrival!

Well, never thought I would be blogging, much less about this, but Bridget and I are expecting our first child. Our daughter Avery Shayne is due on November 20th and we cant wait to meet her. She is certainly a surprise for us, but will come into a world where she will never want for love!
